What a difference 6 years makes!

a Mommy post.....

This afternoon as we were getting ready for Porter's very first "End of the Year" school program, my wonderful husband said ---- "Do you realize that 6 years ago you didn't even know I existed?"

WOW!!  A strange but very true thought! We met on May 20, 2005. 

Six years ago we didn't even know each other and now look at us!  We have a spectacular life and the most amazing and precious son!! 

I am so blessed!  I have the most awesome family ever!  I am married to my best friend who also just happens to be the most loving and spectacular husband in the world!  I am Mommy to the sweetest and most adorable little firecracker of a son!

I never could have imagined all the beautiful plans God had for me!  And, I can only dream about all that is yet to come!



PS - Porter's program was fantastic!  I will let him tell you all about it!  He wanted to post tonight, but he was a little tired!

My big boy bed!!!

Hey everybody! 

I LOVE MY BIG BOY BED!!!





I am even sleeping better now!

I love it so much that I tell everybody about it!  While I was out in the yard today helping Daddy, we saw our neighbors, Mrs. Barbara and Mr. Don, and I even tried to take Mrs. Barbara inside and show her. 

Mommy says I really am a big boy now ---- I use the big boy potty and I sleep in a big boy bed!!  I can tell it makes her very proud because she dances and sings and jumps around every time I do either!  It makes me laugh!!

Mother's Day 2011

Hey everybody!

Daddy and I took Mommy to Cracker Barrel for breakfast to give her Mother's Day a good start!  She said it was yummy, but I think she actually liked her presents we gave her even more!  We gave her a champagne color Pandora leather bracelet and some wood beads to go on one of her other Pandora bracelets.  She loves them!!Even though it was Mommy's day, I got a surprise too!!  I got a little pool so that I could play in the water even when we can't go to the big pool.  It is awesome!!  It is like having an outside bathtub!!  We went to MeMe and Pop's house to grill out with them and CeCe and Uncle Robert, so we took my new pool with us.  The water out of the hose was cold but Pop fixed that for me --- he filled up a bucket inside with warm water and put it in my pool! 

I LOVE BEING SPLASHED!!!

We had a wonderful time!!  It would have been perfect if only MeMe wasn't sick.  Everybody please say a little prayer for her! I don't like it when she is sick!  I love her so much!! 

I just wanted to make sure Daddy knew how much I loved him for pouring all those buckets of water over my head!!

Fun Filled Saturday!

Mommy and Daddy took me to get a DNA Life Print today.  I am not really sure what that is but....

I got to get in another fire truck!  It was a lot bigger than Uncle Adyn's --- the ladder was 100 feet up in the air.  I kept telling them I wanted to climb up it, but nobody would let me!  And, I couldn't understand why they would only let me in the back seat.  Uncle Adyn let me drive!! 



They had a moon jump too!  I talked Mommy into jumping with  me!  It was lots of fun!!


Oh yeah, Mommy wanted me to show you how my black eye was looking these days!  Can you tell I am tired of her taking pictures?!

It was a fun Saturday!  I hope yours was too!

Yep!! It's my first black eye!

It's a good thing I am tough!!  Did I mention last night that I didn't even really cry?!  Daddy says my black eye just makes me look even tougher!














I know it looks bad..... but don't worry, it isn't slowing me down! I still had a great day!

My first black eye?

I think I may end up with my first black eye! Who knew the shower could be so dangerous? I told Mommy that it was Daddy's fault - He threw cold water on me! Ha! The part I didn't tell her was that we do it every night and it was actually my idea!


Hopefully it is nothing that Lovey and a little milk can't fix!
